Product Description
The EAGLOTEST S456 is a portable transformer turns ratio tester for factory testing, commissioning and maintenance. It uses a 90 V AC test output to measure turns ratio, polarity and phase deviation, with automatic vector group recognition and tap-position recording.
A 5.6-inch touchscreen displays test settings and results, while internal memory stores up to 500 test records. Bluetooth app and USB PC connectivity support remote test control, data review and Excel report export.

What is the difference between the S456 and S456 PRO?
The S456 uses a 90 V AC test output. The S456 PRO provides selectable 4 V, 10 V, 40 V and 90 V AC settings and adds excitation current measurement.
When should Normal Test or Blind Test be used?
Use Normal Test when the transformer winding connections and vector group are known. Blind Test helps identify an unknown vector group from measured phase relationships. Some connection types may not be uniquely identified, so confirm the result against the transformer data.
Which transformer types can the S456 test?
The S456 supports ratio and vector group testing on three-phase, single-phase and Z-type transformers, with test modes for CTs and PTs. Follow the connection diagram specified in the user manual for the selected test.
How can test results be saved and exported?
The instrument stores up to 500 test records. Saved data can be exported to a USB flash drive, while the Bluetooth app and PC software support data review and Excel export.
